Walk with God and develop the relationship – 1 Corinthians 6:12, 2 Corinthians 7:9-10, 2 Corinthians 2:14
1 Corinthians 6:12
12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient (profitable): all things are lawful for (to) me, but I will not be brought (to have authority) under the power of any.
2 Corinthians 7:9-10
9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry (grief), but that ye sorrowed (grieved) to repentance (a real change of mind from sin itself; change of moral thought : from sin nature to spiritual nature; alway for the better): for ye were made sorry (grieved) after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage (suffer loss) by us in nothing.
10 For godly sorrow (grief) worketh (to work out) repentance (a real change of mind from sin itself; change of moral thought : from sin nature to spiritual nature; alway for the better) to salvation not to be repented (regretted) of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
2 Corinthians 2:14
14 Now thanks be unto God, which always (at all times) causeth (leads) us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest (brings to light/make visible) the savour of his (all, every) knowledge by us in every place.
