Colossians 3:1-15
1 If, then, you have been raised with Christ, seek the things which are above, where Christ is seated at God’s right hand. 2 Apply your mind to things above, not to things on earth; 3 for you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, makes his appearance, then we also will appear in glory with him. 5 Therefore put to death whatever in your nature belongs to the earth: immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greediness, which is idolatry. 6 On account of them Gods anger will come 7 and at one time you were addicted in them, when your life was spent in such ways.
8 But now you must also put all these things away: anger, bad temper, malice, slander, shameful language. 9 Do not lie to one another, since you have stripped off the old nature with its practices 10 and have put on the new self who is being renewed in a full knowledge in the likeness of Him who created him. 11 You are where there is no difference between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, and freeborn, but Christ is all and in all 12. Therefore, as God’s chosen, set apart and enjoying His love, clothe yourselves with tenderness of heart, kindliness, humility, gentleness, and patient endurance. 13 Bear with one another and forgive each other in case one has a grievance against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so do you. 14 But crown it all with love, which is the perfect bond of union. 15 And let the peace of Christ, to which you were called in one body, arbitrate in your hearts. And be thankful
