Romans 12:1-2
12 I beseech (appeal) you therefore, brethren, by the mercies (active compassion) of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice (the act or victim), holy, acceptable (well pleasing) unto God, which is your reasonable (rational) service (obedience rendered to God).
2 And be not conformed (shaped or fashioned) to this world (age): but be ye transformed (alter one’s bearing) by the renewing (renovation) of your mind (the organ of moral thinking), that ye may prove(to your proving) what is that (the) good, and acceptable (well pleasing), and perfect, (desired) will of God.
