Pray and be thankful for what God has given – Genesis 8:21, Isaiah 26:3-4, 1 Thessalonians 5:15-18
Genesis 6:5 – mens imaginations of thought are continually evil
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination (frame of mind) of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Isaiah 26:3-4 – God will keep a man in perfect peace whose frame of mind is stayed on him because he TRUSTS in God
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind (frame of mind) is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:
1 Thessalonians 5:15-18
15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
16 Rejoice (be glad, delighted, pleased) evermore (always and eternally).
17 Pray without ceasing (unceasing, without intermission).
18 In every thing give thanks (to shew oneself thankful): for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning (in regard to) you.
