14 As obedient children, not fashioning (conform oneself) yourselves according to the former lusts (sinful desires) in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation (behavior);
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
1 Peter 2:1-3
2 Wherefore laying aside (having put away)all malice (badness: generally including all forms of evil both moral and physical), and all guile (bait for a fish), and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord (Christ) is gracious.
