1484. We are at peace with God
We are at peace with God – Romans 10:9-10, Romans 5:17-18, Romans 5:1-2
Romans 10:9-10
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 5:17-18
17 For if by one man’s offence (sin, a falling aside) death reigned by (through the) one; much more they which receive (the) abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence (sin, a falling aside)of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation (the sentence pronounced agains); even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon (unto) all men unto justification (set forth as righteous) of life (in all manifestations or visibility).
Romans 5:1-2
5 Therefore being justified (set forth as righteous) by (out from) faith (believing), we have peace (state of undisturbed well being) with (out from) God through (the dividing line) our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By (the dividing line) whom also we have (obtained) access (the introduction) also by (the dividing line) faith into (motion to) this grace (a kind, affectionate, pleasing nature and inclining disposition) wherein (in which) we stand, and rejoice (speak loud, boast, vaunt oneself) in (resting within) hope (expectations of future good) of the glory (a real knowledge of a matter, that which attracts attention) of God.
