1506. You are blessed
You are blessed – Hebrews 11:23-24 (Modern Language – Berkley) , Hebrews 12:1-3 (Modern Language – Berkley)
Hebrews 11:23-24 (Modern Language – Berkley)
23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden by his parents for three months because they saw he was a beautiful child and they were not afraid of the king’s order.
24 By faith Moses, when he reached maturity, refused to be called a son of Pharoah’s daughter, 25and preferred sharing ill-treatment with the people of God rather than enjoying the short-lived pleasures of sin. 26He considered the reproach, such as came to Christ, greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt. For he fixed his eye on the final recompense.
Hebrews 12:1-3 (Modern Language – Berkley)
So then, encircled as we are with such a great cloud of witnesses all about us, let us get rid of every impediment and the sin that ensnares us so easily, and let us run steady the course mapped out for us, 2with our eyes on Jesus, the cause and completer of our faith who, in view of the joy that lay ahead for him, submitted to the cross, thought nothing of the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. 3Compare your experience with His, who was willing to stand so much hostility from sinners against himself, so that you may not become weary and despondent.
