Set your thoughts on God’s word – Romans 8:1-2, Romans 8:16-20
Romans 8:1-2
8 There is therefore now no (not one) condemnation (judgement against) to them which are in (resting within) Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit (the new spiritual nature) of life (the spiritual law of life) in (resting within) Christ Jesus hath made me free (freed me) from (away from) the law of sin (aberration from the prescribed law) and death (the state of death).
Romans 8:16-20
16 The Spirit (holy spirit) itself beareth witness with our spirit (new spiritual nature), that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs (indeed) of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings (evil suffered) of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed (exposed or open to view) in us.
19 For the earnest expectation (anxious looking with outstretched hand) of the creature (creation) waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature (creation) was made subject (to submit) to vanity (disappointing misery), not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected (submitted) the same in hope (the expectation of future good).
