Hebrews 4:8-13
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest (rest day) to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased (rested) from his own works, as God did from his (own).
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after (resting within) the same example of unbelief.
12 For (For in fact also) the word (logos: spoken word as connected to the inner thought) of God is quick (living), and powerful (strength, and effectual in operation), and sharper (more cutting) than (above) any twoedged sword, piercing (passing through) even to the dividing asunder (the act of dividing) of soul and spirit (natural man and spiritual), and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner (skilled in judging) of the thoughts (secret motives and emotional revolving of the mind) and intents (what is in the mind, idea) of the heart (the seat of ones distinctive character).
13 Neither is there any creature (created thing) that is not manifest (not apparent or visible) in his sigh (before his eyes): but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do (is our account).
