Those of this kosmos are set up for destruction – 2 Peter 2:12, 2 Peter 2:17-18, 2 Peter 2:9

2 Peter 2:12

¹² But these, as natural brute beasts (living creatures), made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of (remaining within) the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

2 Peter 2:17-18

¹⁷ These are wells without water (fountains dry), clouds (midst) that are carried with a tempest (winds with rain); to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

¹⁸ For when they speak great swelling words of vanity (emptiness), they allure (to take or catch) through the lusts of the flesh (sinful desire), through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped (indeed but just escaping) from them who live (live in, pass one’s time) in error.

2 Peter 2:9

⁹ The Lord knoweth how to deliver (rescue) the godly out of temptations (a putting to the test, proof, trail), and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
