8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE (God’s word is true, the spirit of truth) , whatsoever things are HONEST (dignified: not be doubletounged: telling a different story, slanderer: accuser of other’s, sober, not greedy) , whatsoever things are JUST (righteous: the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17)), whatsoever things are PURE (wisdom from above, what God tells you and the expectation of future good or hope of Jesus Christ’s return), whatsoever things are LOVELY (dear to you and in God’s eyes, providing pasture being a Sheppard for his sheep, lovingly guiding them), whatsoever things are of GOOD REPORT; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things
