Be thankful, or try to be – Colossians 3:10; Colossians 3:14-15; Hebrews 13:15

Colossians 3:10

¹⁰ And have put on (like a tee shirt) the new man (new spiritual nature), which is renewed (daily acquiring strength) in (motion towards) knowledge (epignosis: a true and personal relationship with the object and heeding it’s advice) after (in parallel motion) the image (pattern) of him that created him:

Colossians 3:14-15

¹⁴ And above all these things put on charity (the love), which is the (a) bond (that which binds together, a bundle) of perfectness (completeness, that which has reached its full and intended end).

¹⁵ And let the peace of God (Christ) rule (lit. to be umpire) in (resting within) your hearts (seat of your being), to (motion to) the which also ye are called (ye were called also) in one body; and be ye thankful (to BECOME grateful, pleasing).

Hebrews 13:15-16

¹⁵ By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

¹⁶ But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
