1 Corinthians 15:44-49

⁴⁴ It is sown a natural (animal life) body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural (animal life) body, and there is a spiritual body.

Natural: breathing, animal, possessing animal life, swayed by the animal or natural mind and affections. Not under the influence of the holy spirit.

⁴⁵ And so it is written, The first man Adam (human being) was made (became into) a living soul (as an individual); the last (that which concludes) Adam (human being) was made (into or motion towards) a quickening (to make alive, eternal) spirit.

⁴⁶ Howbeit that was (But) not first which is (the) spiritual, but that which is (the) natural; and afterward that which is (the) spiritual.

⁴⁷ The first man is of (out from, origin) the earth (as distinct from heaven), earthy (earth dung or thrown up); the second man is the Lord from (of: out from, origin) heaven.

⁴⁸ As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly (pertains to, is in heaven), such are they also that are heavenly (pertains to, is in heaven).

⁴⁹ And as we have borne (to wear) the image (likeness, to be like, resembles, represents) of the earthy (earth dung or thrown up), we shall also bear (that wear also) the image (likeness, to be like, resembles, represents) of the heavenly.
