46 Howbeit that was (But) not first which is (the) spiritual, but that which is (the) natural; and afterward that which is (the) spiritual.
47 The first man is of (out from, origin) the earth (as distinct from heaven), earthy (earth dung or thrown up); the second man is the Lord from (of: out from, origin) heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly (pertains to, is in heaven), such are they also that are heavenly (pertains to, is in heaven).
49 And as we have borne (to wear) the image (likeness, to be like, resembles, represents) of the earthy (earth dung or thrown up), we shall also bear (that wear also) the image (likeness, to be like, resembles, represents) of the heavenly.
