Change your mind and actions to what the word says – Ephesians 6:1-8

Ephesians 6:1-8

6 Children, obey your parents in (resting within) the Lord (the master Jesus Christ); for this is right.

2 Honour (deem or hold worthy of value) thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with (resting within) promise;

3 That it may be well with (resting within) thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

4 And, ye (the) fathers, provoke (to wrath) not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture (with discipline) and admonition of the Lord.

5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters (authority and lordship; pertaining to ownership) according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

6 Not with (according to) eyeservice (rendered only for the masters eye), as menpleasers (desirous to please man); but as the servants of Christ, doing the will (will, wish, desire, active volition) of God from (out from the origins of) the heart;

7 With good will (willing mind) doing service (in bondage), as to the Lord, and not to men:

8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any (each one) man doeth, the same shall he receive (take care of, provide for, as one fallen in battle… take up, carry off as to preserve, hence to bring to one’s self) of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
