Esteem others better than yourself, think on these things

Esteem others better than yourself

Philippians 2:2-4

2 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

Proverbs 17:14

The beginning of strife (the angry argument) is as when one breaches a damn. Therefore, leave off contention (the small arguments) before it fills up the damn.

Phillipians 4:8 :

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
