Faith purifies (cleanse) your heart

Acts 15:4-9

⁵ But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

⁶ And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.

⁷ And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice (chose out) among us, that the Gentiles by (though) my mouth should hear the word (logos: spoken word as connected to the inner thought) of the gospel (the news of the actual fulfillment of the promise of salvation, ie.. the news of salvation), and believe.

⁸ And God, which knoweth the hearts (the heart searcher), bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

⁹ And put no difference between (discriminated in nothing) us and them, purifying (having cleaned) their hearts by (the) faith.

The wisdom from above is pure or clean and produces fruit

¹⁷ But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality (synonymous with to judge or condemn; to discriminate, to make a difference), and without hypocrisy.

¹⁸ And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Put your trust in God

⁵ Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
