Go to God
Philippians 2:1-4
2 If there be therefore any consolation (callings, summons) in (resting within) Christ, if any comfort (stimulating force) of love, if any fellowship (partaking, sharing, participation) of the Spirit (spiritual feelings or desires), if any bowels (inward parts) and mercies (pity or compassion),
2 Fulfil (complete) ye my joy, that ye be likeminded (think the same), having the same love, being of one accord (unity of life and love), of one mind (minding the same thing).
3 Let nothing (not one thing) be done through (according to) strife (works for ambition) or vainglory (empty as to glory); but in lowliness (humility) of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Philippians 2:12-16
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out (effect or achieve) your own salvation (safety or preservation) with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh (to form by labor) in you both to will (the emotional will to do) and to do (to work) of his good pleasure (desire).
2 Peter 1:2
2 Grace (God’s loving disposition) and peace (the state of undisturbed well being) be multiplied (make you full) unto you through (through the instrument of) the knowledge (epignosis: a true and personal relationship and where you hear from God and heed the advice) of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
14 Do all things without murmurings (self uttering in a low voice, private) and disputings:
15 That ye may be blameless (not open to criticism) and harmless (unmixed), the sons of God, without rebuke (blemish), in the midst of a crooked (bent sideways from dryness) and perverse (distort: to turn or twist throughout) nation (generation), among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
16 Holding forth the word (logos: the spoken word) of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
Philippians 4:4
4 Rejoice (be delighted, pleased) in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
