God knows how to rescue you out of any trial – 2 Peter 2:4-9

2 Peter 2:4-9

4 For if God spared not the angels that (when they) sinned, but cast them down (subterranean) to hell, and delivered (hand over, give up) them into chains (pits) of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment (damnation, condemnation, accusation);

5 And spared (to abstain from using or doin) not the old (ancient) world (kosmos: the arrangement), but saved (preserved) Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world (kosmos: the arrangement) of the ungodly;

6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned (to give sentence against) them with an overthrow, making (having made) them an ensample unto those that after should (about to) live ungodly;

7 And delivered (rescued) just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation (oppressed by lustly behavior) of the wicked:

8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver (rescue) the godly out of temptations (a putting to the test, proof, trial), and to reserve the unjust unto the (a) day of judgment to be punished:
