God knows you – 2 Corinthians 7:9-10
2 Corinthians 7:9-10
9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry (grieved – pain produced by loss, misfortune or injury), but that ye sorrowed (grieved) to repentance (a real change of mind; change of moral thought, from sin nature to spiritual; always for the better): for ye were made sorry (grieved) after (according to) a godly manner, that ye might receive damage (suffer loss) by us in nothing.
10 For godly sorrow (grief according to God) worketh (to work out) repentance (a real change of mind or moral thought) to salvation (safety preservation) not to be repented (regretted) of: but the sorrow (grief) of the world (kosmos: the arrangement) worketh (effect or achieves) death.
