God’s seed remains in us

God’s seed remains in us – 1 John 3:6-9; ESV 1 John 3:8-9; 2 Peter 1:2

1 John 3:6-9

6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth (misses the mark) not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen (perceive with the eyes) him, neither known (ginosko: experiential learning) him.

7 Little children, let no man (one) deceive (seduce) you: he that doeth (practiceth) righteousness (a righteous ordinance, a decree of acquittal) is righteous (just, right), even as he is righteous.

8 He that committeth (practiceth) sin (missing the mark) is of (out from, origins) the devil; for the devil sinneth (misses the mark) from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy (unbind, loosen, dissolve) the works of the devil.

9 Whosoever is born of (out from, origins) God doth not commit (practiceth) sin (missing the mark); for his seed remaineth (abideth) in him: and he cannot (is not) sin, because he is born (begotten) of God.

English Standard Version – 1 John 3:8-9

8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s[b] seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God.

2 Peter 1:2

2 Grace (loving disposition) and peace (the state of undisturbed wellbeing) be multiplied (make you full) unto you through (the instrument) the knowledge (epignosis: a true and personal relationship with the object where you heed from him and heed its advice) of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
