Have faith and seek the relationship with God – Hebrews 11:8-9; Hebrews 11:1-3; Hebrews 11:6

Hebrews 11:8-9

⁸ By faith (having a firm conviction, believing what you specifically hear) Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

⁹ By faith (having a firm conviction, believing what you specifically hear) he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles (tents) with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

Hebrews 11:1-3

1 Now faith (having a firm conviction, believing what you specifically hear) is the substance (that which lies at the foundation of a matter; the foundation) of things hoped (to expect future good) for, the evidence (the proof) of things not seen.

² For by it the elders obtained a good report.

³ Through faith (having a firm conviction, believing what you specifically hear) we understand that the worlds (ages) were framed (prepared) by the word (Rhema: spoken word) of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Hebrews 11:6

⁶ But without faith it is impossible to please (to please well) him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he (is become) is a rewarder (payer of full wages) of them that diligently seek (search out) him.
