Put on the armor of God

Romans 13:11-12

¹¹ And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake (be awakened) out of sleep: for now is our salvation (safety) nearer than when we believed.

¹² The night is far spent (advanced), the day is at hand (draws nigh): let us therefore cast off the works of darkness (the absence of light), and let us put on the armour of (the) light.

The armor of light

Ephesians 6:13-18

¹³ Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

¹⁴ Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth (from God), and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

¹⁵ And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

¹⁶ Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked (satanic temptations).

¹⁷ And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

¹⁸ Praying (praying to God) always (on every occasion) with (for or with respect to; motion towards) all prayer (vow to God) and supplication (personal prayers of need) in (resting within) the Spirit (holy spirit), and watching thereunto (unto this) with all perseverance (strength, firmness towards) and supplication (want, need) for all saints (the saints: those who believe);
