Little Children

1 Peter 1:23-25

Being (Having been) born (sired, begotten) again, not of corruptible (perishable) seed (begetting of children), but of incorruptible (immortal), by the word (logos: the spoken word as connected to the inner thought) of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

1 Peter 2:1-2

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

1 John 1:2-2

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

And he is the propitiation (make amends, the covering of sin by means of sacrifice) for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 John 2:21

28 And now, little children, abide (remain dwell, endure) in (resting within) him; that, when he shall (shall absolutely) appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

1 John 3:6

Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth (miss the mark) hath not seen (perceive with the eyes) him, neither known him.

Little children, let no man deceive (seduce) you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

He that committeth sin is of (eis: out from) the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Whosoever is born of (eis: out from) God doth not commit sin; for his seed (Jesus Christ) remaineth (abide, dwell, remain) in (resting within) him: and he cannot (is) sin, because he is born of God.
