3a.You’re a child until Christ be formed in you.

Galatians 4:17

19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

3b. You’re a child until you understand that we are not under the law –

Galatians 4:1-17

Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage (enslaved) under the elements (elementary rules) of the world (Kosmos: the arrangement):

But when the fulness of the time was come (came), God sent forth his Son, made (to come into existence) of a woman, made under the law,

To redeem (to buy out) them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons (sonship).

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit (new spiritual nature) of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Wherefore thou art no more (no longer) a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ (through God).

Howbeit (But (the marking of opposition) then, when ye knew not God, ye did service (in bondage to, enslaved) unto them which by nature are not gods.

But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known (gnosis: experiential learning) of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

When you’re a child, you’ll speak as a child, but as a man, you’ll put away childish things

1 Co 13:11

11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

You’re a child until Christ is formed in you
