All things work together for good to God’s children – Romans 8:12-16, Romans 8:28

Romans 8:12-16

¹² Therefore (so then), brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after (in parallel motion with the old nature) the flesh.

¹³ For if ye live after (in parallel motion with the old nature) the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify (put to death) the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

¹⁴ For as many as are led by the Spirit (new spiritual nature) of God, they are the sons of God

¹⁵ For ye have not received the (a) spirit (one’s character) of bondage (slave, servitude) again to fear; but ye have received the (a) Spirit of adoption (sonship) , whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

¹⁶ The Spirit (holy spirit) itself beareth witness with our spirit (new spiritual nature), that we are the children of God:

¹⁷ And if children, then heirs; heirs (indeed) of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

¹⁸ For I reckon that the sufferings (evil suffered) of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed (exposed or open to view) in us.

Romans 8:28

²⁸ And we know that all things work (labor, achievement, that which is accomplished by labor) together for good (worthy of affirmation) to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (of what one’s sets before his mind, deliberate resolution).
