4 Ye are of (out from, origin) God, little children (natural descendent, term of endearment), and have overcome (victorious, come off victor) them: because greater (by measure and stature) is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of (out from, origin) the world: therefore (on account of this) speak they of (out from, origin) the world, and the world heareth them.
6 We are of (out from, origin) God: he that knoweth (ginosko – experiential learning) God heareth us; he that is not of (out from, origin) God heareth not us. Hereby (from this) know (experiential learning) we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error (seduction from the truth).
7 Beloved, let us love (spontaneous love) one another: for love is of (out from, origin) God; and every one that loveth is born (sired) of (out from, origin) God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9 In this was manifested (brought to light) the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation (the coverings of sin by means of a sacrafice) for our sins.
1 John 4:18
18 There is no (not) fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
