1 Corinthians 10:13
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
2 Corinthians 4:7-10
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that (in order that) the excellency (surpassing) of the power (inherent power) may be of God, and not of us.
8 We are troubled (afflicted) on every side (in everything knowing), yet not distressed (suffocated as wrestling); we are perplexed (not knowing which way to turn), but not in despair (altogether without help or means);
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken (abandoned); cast down (thrown down or cast down; to strike down), but not destroyed (perish, to to death, lost or ruin);
10 Always bearing about (to hold up) in the body the dying of the Lord (Christ) Jesus, that the life also of (Christ) Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
