Proverbs 12:25
25 Heaviness (anxiety) in the heart of man maketh it stoop (bowed down): but a good word maketh it glad (by driving anxiety away).
Proverbs 13:12
12 Hope deferred (protracted, delayed) maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
Proverbs 13:25
25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.
Proverbs 14:1
14 Every wise woman buildeth (has built) her house: but the foolish (woman) plucketh it down (will tear it down) with her hands.
Proverbs 16:1-3
16 The preparations (arrangements, plans)of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.
(To man pertain the plans of his heart: but from Jehovah comes the final decree)
2 All the ways of a man are clean (pure) in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth (with moral and spiritual weights) the spirits (invisible characteristics of man).
3 Commit thy works (an action) unto the Lord, and thy thoughts (plans) shall be established (stand upright).
