603. You are never alone
You are never alone – 2 Corinthians 4:7-10, Philippians 4:11-13
2 Corinthians 4:7-10
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency (surpassing, throwing beyond) of the power (inherent power) may be of God, and not of us.
8 We are troubled (afflicted) on every side (in every thing), yet not distressed (suffocated as in wrestling); we are perplexed (not knowing which way to turn), but not in despair (altogether without help or means);
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken (abandoned); cast down (to throw or cast down, to strike down), but not destroyed (perished; as persons: put to death; of things: lost or ruined);
10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord (Christ) Jesus, that the life also of (Christ) Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
Philippians 4:11-13
11 Not that I speak in respect of want (being in want): for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content (sufficient in oneself, needing no aid).
12 I know both how to be abased (to bring low, humble), and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all (am strong for all) things through (resting within) Christ which strengtheneth (imparteth strength) me.
