1-6-proverbs-1-11-7-proverbs-10-22-01

Proverbs 11:1-7; Proverbs 10:22

11 A false balance (balances) is abomination (a disgusting thing) to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.

When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom (prudence, skill, shrewdness).

The integrity (wholeness, entirety, unbroken state) of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness (crookedness) of transgressors shall destroy them.

Riches profit not in the day of wrath (God’s wrath): but righteousness delivereth (rescueth) from death.

The righteousness (righteous acts, righteous cause, righteous ethically, righteous acts) of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.

When a wicked man dieth, his expectation (things hoped for, ground of hope) shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.

Proverbs 10:22

22 The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Proverbs 11:1-7; Proverbs 10:22
