Proverbs 18:10-13 – Run into the name of God (Jehovah)

Run into the name of God (Jehovah)

Proverbs 18:10-13

10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower (tower from it’s height or size): the righteous runneth into it, and is safe (set on high).

11 The rich man’s wealth is his strong city (building; comes from laying floors), and as an high wall in his own conceit (imagination).

12 Before destruction the heart (center) of man is haughty (to soar: to make high), and before honour (glory) is humility (divine or objective clemency/softness in the air; gentleness, meekness).

13 He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly (weakness of intellect, imbecility/lack of strengh of mind) and shame (disgrace, to charge with fault in severe language) unto him.
