Genesis 15:6

⁶ And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Romans 1:17

¹⁷ For therein (in it) is the (God’s) righteousness of God revealed (visible to the eye) from (out from) faith to (unto) faith: as it is written, The just (righteous, upright) shall live by faith.

Romans 3:20-24

²⁰ Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified (set froth as righteous) in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge (acquainted with) of sin.

²¹ But now the righteousness of God without (apart from) the law is manifested (made openly known) being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

²² Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference (distinction):

²³ For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

²⁴ Being justified (set forth as righteous) freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

²⁶ To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just (righteous), and the justifier (set forth as righteous) of him which believeth in Jesus.

²⁸ Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
