The new commandments

1 John 3:23

23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth (abideth) in (resting within) him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

1 Thesselonians 5:14-18

14 Now we exhort (call aside, appeal) you, brethren, warn (to put into mind, instruct) them that are unruly (disorderly), comfort (soothe and pacify) the feebleminded (faint-hearted), support (hold fast, cleave to, faithfully care for) the weak, be patient (slow to anger, passion, long-suffering) toward all men.

15 See that none render evil (depraved, bad in nature) for (equivalence) evil (depraved, bad in nature) unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

16 Rejoice (be delighted, pleased, glad) evermore (always, eternally).

17 Pray (pray to God) without ceasing (unceasing, without intermission).

18 In (resting within) every thing give thanks (to show ones self thankful): for this is the will of God in (resting within) Christ Jesus concerning you.

Peace and his loving disposition will make you full through having a relationship with him and his son Jesus Christ

2 Peter 1:2

Grace (God’s loving disposition) and peace (the state of undisturbed well being) be multiplied (make you full) unto you through (through the instrument of) the knowledge (epignosis: a true and personal relationship and where you hear from God and heed the advice) of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

Rejoice and praying without intermission and giving thanks
