Seek Christ: Find the light and your eyes will be open

Find the light and your eyes will be open

You are to humble yourself as a LITTLE CHILD

The kingdom is reserved for LITTLE CHILDREN

Little Children: The principles:

  1. Seek Christ
    1. Seek and ye shall find – Mathew 7:7
    2. Rest – Mathew 11:28
    3. Life – John 10:10
    4. Light:
      1. Christ is light – John 8:12
      2. Opens your eyes – Acts 26:18
      3. Keeps you from stumbling – John 11:9-10
      4. Teaches you to love bretheren – 1 John 2:9
      5. It’ll rejoice your heart – Proverbs 15:30
  2. Love one another
  3. You’re a child until Christ is formed in you
  4. We have an advocate with the Father
  5. Your sins are forgiven you
  6. Abide resting within Christ
  7. You are righteous and cannot sin
  8. Love in deed
  9. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world
  10. Abstain from idol

Christ is light

John 8:12

12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Opens your eyes

Acts 26:18

18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from (and that they may turn) darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Keeps you from stumbling

John 11:9-10

9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.

Teaches you to love bretheren

1 John 2:9-11

9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

It’ll rejoice your heart

Pr:15:30

30 The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.

Keep thine eye single

22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
