Stay focused on what’s important because we are living in grace – Ephesians 2:4-9

Ephesians 2:4-9

⁴ But God, who is rich in (resting within) mercy (active compassion) for his great love wherewith he loved us,

⁵ Even when we were dead in (by) sins, hath quickened (made us alive)us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

⁶ And hath raised us up together, and made us sit (down) together (in conjunction with) in (resting within) heavenly (the heavenliness) places in (resting within) Christ Jesus:

⁷ (In order that) That in (resting within) the ages to come he might shew the exceeding (surpassing, excel) riches (wealth) of his grace in (resting within) his kindness toward us through (resting within) Christ Jesus.

⁸ For by grace (affection and disposition) are ye saved through (the dividing line) faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

⁹ Not of works, lest any man should boast.
