Stress and pressure positively effects your patient enduring and ultimately hope – Hebrews 12:1; Romans 5:1-5

Hebrews 12:1

12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed (surrounded) about with so great a cloud of witnesses (those whose lives witness to the power of faith), let us lay aside every weight (a prominence, incumbrance), and the sin which doth so easily beset (a competitor thwarting) us, and let us run with patience (patient enduring) the race (the contest) that is set before us,

Romans 5:1-5

5 Therefore being justified (set forth as righteous) by faith (believing specifically what you hear), we have peace (state of undisturbed well-being) with God through (the dividing line) our Lord Jesus Christ:

² By whom also we have (obtained) access (the introduction) by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

³ And not only so, but we glory (rejoice also) in tribulations (pressure, compression; hence, pressure from evil, affliction, stress) also: knowing that tribulation (pressure, compression; hence, pressure from evil, affliction, stress) worketh (working down; hence effects) patience (patient enduring);

⁴ And patience (patient enduring), experience (the state of being tried or having been tried); and experience (the state of being tried or having been tried), hope (expectation of future good):

⁵ And hope (expectation of future good) maketh not ashamed (does not cause shame) ; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
