OLD TESTAMENT

Deu 7:12¶Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercywhich he sware unto thy fathers:

Deu 7:13And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

Deu 7:14Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.

Deu 30:4If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:

Deu 30:5And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

Deu 30:6And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Deu 30:7¶And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.

Deu 30:8And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD,and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.

Deu 30:9And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruitof thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:

Deu 30:10If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

Psa 31:21 Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

Psa 31:22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.

Psa 31:23 O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

Psa 31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

Psa 70:4Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let Godbe magnified.

THE MAJORITY OF VERSES TO THIS POINT HAVE TO DO MOSTLY WITH “LOVING” GOD… THEN LOVING THY NEIGHBOR AND HIS COMMANDMENTS.. .HOWEVER NOTE, THIS IS STILL THE OLD TESTAMENT

LOVING HIS PRECEPTS AND COMMANDMENTS:

Psa 119:159Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD,according to thy lovingkindness.

Psa 119:163I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.

Psa 119:165Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

Psa 119:167My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.

LOVING GOD

Psa 145:20The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

MISC

Pro 9:8Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

Pro 18:21Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

 Pro 10:12Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

GOD LOVES HIS CHOSEN.. FIRST ISRAEL NOW US

Zep 3:17The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Isa 56:4For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;

Isa 56:5Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

Isa 56:6Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD,to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbathfrom polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

NEW TESTATMENT LOVE

Mat 5:43¶Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thyneighbour, and hate thine enemy.

Mat 5:44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray forthem which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Mat 5:46For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye?do not even the publicans the same?

Mat 5:48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is inheaven is perfect.

Mat 19:19Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt lovethy neighbour as thyself.

Mat 22:37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Mar 12:30And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thystrength: this is the first commandment.

Mar 12:31And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thyneighbour as thyself. There is none other commandmentgreater than these.

Luk 6:27But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, dogood to them which hate you,

Luk 6:32For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye?for sinners also love those that love them.

Luk 6:35But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hopingfor nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Luk 10:27And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy Godwith all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thystrength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour asthyself.

Luk 16:13No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hatethe one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one,and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Jhn 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God;neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

Jhn 13:34A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

CHRIST’S COMMANDMENTS:

Jhn 14:11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me:or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

Jhn 14:12¶Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works thanthese shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

hn 14:13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do,that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Jhn 14:14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Jhn 14:15¶If ye love me, keep my commandments.

LOVE:

your enemies

your neighbors

God

You can only love and serve one thing

Love Jesus Christ and keep his commandments
