9 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power (dynamis – inherent power, CAPABILITY of anything, ABILITY to perform anything; then absolutely, not metered power capable of action) and authority (exuosia – authority – the liberty and right to put forth power, combining the idea of right and might) over all devils, and to cure diseases.
2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
John 5:24-27
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation (judgement); but is (has) passed from death unto life.
25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
27 And hath given him authority (exuosia – authority – the liberty and right to put forth power, combining the idea of right and might) to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
Christ had authority (exuosia – authority – the liberty and right to put forth power, combining the idea of right and might) to give authority (exuosia – authority – the liberty and right to put forth power, combining the idea of right and might) to become sons of God
John 1:12
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power (exuosia – authority – the liberty and right to put forth power, combining the idea of right and might) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
All authority (exuosia – authority – the liberty and right to put forth power, combining the idea of right and might) is ordained or appointed of God
Romans 13:1-3
13 Let every soul (individual) be subject unto the higher (supreme) powers (exuosia – authority – the liberty and right to put forth power, combining the idea of right and might). For there is no power (exuosia – authority – the liberty and right to put forth power, combining the idea of right and might) but of God: the powers (exuosia – authority – the liberty and right to put forth power, combining the idea of right and might) that be are ordained (appointed) of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth (withstands) the power (exuosia – authority – the liberty and right to put forth power, combining the idea of right and might), resisteth (withstands) the ordinance (the precept) of God: and they that resist (withstand) shall receive to themselves damnation (condemnation).
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power (exuosia – authority – the liberty and right to put forth power, combining the idea of right and might)? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
Colossians 1:15-16
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature (all creation):
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers (exuosia – authority – the liberty and right to put forth power, combining the idea of right and might): all things were created by him, and for him:
Christ is the head of of all principality and authority (exuosia – authority – the liberty and right to put forth power, combining the idea of right and might)
Colossians 2:6-10
6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him (Jesus Christ):
7 Rooted (to take root) and built up (built upon) in (resting within) him (JC), and stablished (to confirm, ratified) in (by) the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding (more than enough) therein with thanksgiving.
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him (JC) dwelleth (fixed dwelling) all the fulness of the Godhead (divine) bodily (body).
10 And ye are complete (fully furnished) in him (JC), which (who) is the head of all principality (rulership) and power (authority, liberty and right to put forth power):

13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 And whosoever shall not receive (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
Whoever receives or embraces or accepts Christ
Matthew 10:34-42
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
40 He that receiveth (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) you receiveth (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
41 He that receiveth (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.
42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
Matthew 18:5
5 And whoso shall receive (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) one such little child in my name receiveth (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) me.

35 And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.
36 And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them,
37 Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) me: and whosoever shall receive (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) me, receiveth (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) not me, but him that sent me.
Taking (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) or embracing what is owed
Luke 16:1-8
16 And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
2 And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
3 Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
4 I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) me into their houses.
5 So he called every one of his lord’s debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?
6 And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
7 Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) thy bill, and write fourscore.
8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
Embrace a (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) the kingdom as little children
Luke 18:16-17
16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

2 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,
3 Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.
4 But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,
5 I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:
6 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
7 And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.
9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
10 And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.

11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.
The natural man or fleshly man does not receive (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) or embrace or accept the spirit or holy spirit of God
1 Corinthians 2:10-14
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth (dekomai- to receive, to take to oneself what is presented, accept, embrace) not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Matthew 13:18-21
18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

Inheritance received (lambano – to take, to take hold of, apprehend, to take or receive from another. To take what is given. Receiving into manifestation, manifest in the senses world) for forsaking essentially family for Christ’s name
Matthew 19:28-30
28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive (lambano – to take, to take hold of, apprehend, to take or receive from another. To take what is given. Receiving into manifestation, manifest in the senses world) . (SUPPLY ELLIPSIS: it, if it be His will. This is the one abiding condition of all prayer; and this ellipsis must always be supplied)
We will receive (lambano – to take, to take hold of, apprehend, to take or receive from another. To take what is given. Receiving into manifestation, manifest in the senses world) in this life and in the next for following and believing in Christ

23 And Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How difficult it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!”
24 And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how difficult it is[b] to enter the kingdom of God!
25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”
26 And they were exceedingly astonished, and said to him,[c] “Then who can be saved?”
27 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”
28 Peter began to say to him, “See, we have left everything and followed you.”
29 Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel,
30 who will not receive (lambano – to take, to take hold of, apprehend, to take or receive from another. To take what is given.
