Turn to God – 2 Thesselonains 2:13-17
2 Thesselonains 2:13-17
13 But we are bound (under obligation) to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord (Christ), because God hath from the beginning chosen (chose) you to salvation (safety) through (resting within) sanctification (to set in a state corresponding to God’s nature) of the Spirit (holy spirit) and belief (faith) of the truth:
14 Whereunto (Unto which) he called (summoned, to call by name) you by our gospel, to the obtaining (unto acquiring) of the glory (splendor, brilliance resting within the appearance) of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast (firm), and hold (lay hold on) the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word (spoken word as connected to the inner thought), or our epistle (letter).
16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given (gave) us everlasting (everlasting of or belonging to an age) consolation (a calling near, summons, encouraging, exhortation, invitation) and good hope (expectation of future good) through (resting within) grace (free undeserved favor),
17 Comfort (to speak to, to pacify) your hearts, and stablish (set fast, establish) you in (resting within) every good word (logos: spoken word as connected to the inner thoughts) and work (that which is accomplished by labor).

Sarah, your post is on point! It’s been disheartening to see people think this will all blow over soon and how we will all go back to normal. The new normal will be a huge adjustment we all have to make to make this world a much better place. I’m with you, with all the people you thanked. I couldn’t agree with you more. It hurts me to hear how people are doingunnecessary shoppingjust to get out. This foolish practice will eventually hurt all of our hospitals and the people putting their life on the line for the greed of others. Your motto of: “6 feet apart or 6 feet under” was to the point! Thank you for the wonderful message you shared. It truly shows the good human you are inside and out. And I’m so happy to see you are raising three lovely children who will follow your genuine footsteps into a positive roll this world needs.Thank you for taking time to read my thoughts, and thank you for your input, DJ.
