Work because you’ll receive of the Lord

Work because you’ll receive of the Lord – Ephesians 6:5-9; Ephesians 6:18

Ephesians 6:5-9

5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters (authority and lordship pertaining to ownership) according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

6 Not with (according to) eyeservice (rendered only for the masters eye), as menpleasers (desirous to please man) but as the servants of Christ, doing the will (will, wish, desire, active volition) of God from (out from the origins of) the heart (soul);

7 With good will (willing mind) doing service (in bondage), as to the Lord, and not to men:

8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man (each one) doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

Ephesians 6:18

18 Praying (prayers to God) always (on every occasion) with (for or with respect to; motion towards) all prayer (or vows to God) and supplication (prayers of personal need) in (resting within) the Spirit (holy spirit), and watching thereunto (unto this) with all perseverance (firmness towards) and supplication (want need, expressed want) for all saints;
