1236. Be single minded – daily bible verse

Be single minded – James 1:4-8, Psalms 119:113, Matthew 4:4, Colossians 3:14

James 1:4-8

⁴ But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

⁵ If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

⁶ But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

⁷ For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

⁸ A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Psalms 119:113

¹¹³ I hate vain thoughts (divided or doubting thoughts, them that are of double mind): but thy law do I love.

Matthew 4:4

⁴ But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Colossians 3:14

¹⁴ And above all these things put on charity (the love), which is the (a) bond (that which binds) of perfectness (completeness, that which has reached its full and intended end).
