The state of expecting is out from God – Psalms 62:1-6, Philippians 4:4-6

Psalms 62:1-6

62 Truly (surely) my soul (I myself) waiteth (waiteth, in silence) upon God: from (for) him cometh my salvation.

² He only (truly) is my rock and my salvation (safety from evils); he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

³ How long will ye imagine (rise against) mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.

⁴ They only consult (advise) to cast him down from his excellency (high/royal rank implied): they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

⁵ My soul, wait (wait, in silence) thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

⁶ He only (truly) is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

⁷ In (upon) God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge (shelter from danger), is in God.

Philippians 4:4-6

⁴ Rejoice (be delighted, pleased) in (resting within) the Lord (Christ) always: and again I say, Rejoice.

⁵ Let your moderation (forbearance and consideration) be known (experientially known) unto all men. The Lord (Christ) is at hand.

⁶ Be careful (anxious)l for nothing (not one thing); but in every thing (all things) by prayer (prayers to God) and supplication (specific prayers of need) with thanksgiving let your requests (specific requests) be made known (declare) unto God.
