Colossians 3:1-5

If ye then be risen (were risen) with Christ, seek those things which are above (heavenly things), where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Set your affection (mind) on things above (heavenly things), not on things on the earth.

For ye are dead (died), and your life (life in all its manifestations) is (has been) hid (laid up in store) with (in conjunction with) Christ in (resting within) God.

When Christ, who is our life, shall appear (be manifested; make visible), then shall ye also appear (be manifested; make visible) with him in glory.

Bullinger : Glory: that appearance of a person or thing which attracts attention or commands recognition, looks like something, equivalent therefor to splendor, brilliance, glory. In this sense “glory” denotes the appearance of glory attracting the gaze, manifestation of glory (not the person or thing itself whose glorious appearance attracts attention, but the appearance which attracts attention). Splendor, glory, brightness.

Mortify (put to death) therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Colossians 3:10

10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed (new: newly made; daily acquiring strength) in (motion towards) knowledge (epignosis: having a true personal relationship with; in addition, heeding advice) after (in parallel motion with) the image (pattern) of him that created him:
