Guard what you think about – Proverbs 24:6-7, Proverbs 4:23-24, Proverbs 3:5-7

Proverbs 24:6-7

⁶ Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:

⁷ For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Proverbs 4:23-24

²³ Keep (guard) thy heart with all diligence (above al that must be guarded); for out of it are the issues of life.

²⁴ Put away from thee a froward (distorted) mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

Proverbs 3:5-7

⁵ Trust (confide) in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding (discernment; power of faculty of mind).

⁶ In all thy ways acknowledge (recognize) him, and he shall direct (rightly divide) thy paths.

⁷ Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
