Turn the light on – Palms 119:105, Ephesians 5:8-13, Ephesians 4:23-24

Palms 119:105

¹⁰⁵ Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Ephesians 5:8-13

⁸ For ye were sometimes (once) darkness (the darkness of blindness), but now are ye light (not in the light be received the Light) in the Lord (the Christ): walk (course of life) as children (sons) of light:

⁹ (For the fruit of the Spirit (light) is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

¹⁰ Proving (to approve by trial) what is acceptable (well pleasing) unto the Lord.

¹¹ And have no fellowship (partnership) with the unfruitful works of darkness (the darkness), but rather reprove (convict) them.

¹² For it is a shame (hence, indecent) even to speak of those things which are done (being done) of them in secret.

¹³ But all things that are reproved (convicted) are made manifest (made apparent, show openly) by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest (made apparent, show openly) is light.

Ephesians 4:23-24

²² That ye put off (put away) concerning (with the ultimate purpose) the former (before) conversation (manner of life) the old man (Adam nature), which is corrupt (being corrupted) according to the deceitful lusts (sinful desires);

²³ And be renewed (implies that the whole course of life now flows in a different direction) in the spirit (your spirit, desires, action) of your mind (reflective conscious);

²⁴ And that ye put on the new man (new nature), (that) which after (along the same motion) God is (was) created in (remaining within) righteousness and (of the) true (truth) holiness (godliness).
